NDAX takes several steps to ensure the security of user accounts and funds:

1. Cold Storage: Most digital assets are stored in cold storage, which is not connected to the internet, significantly reducing the risk of hacks.
2. Multi-Signature Wallets: Moving funds from cold storage requires multiple signatures from NDAX senior management.
3. Insurance: NDAX holds insurance for both its cold storage (US$5 million) and hot wallets (US$3 million), as well as general business liability insurance.
4. SOC 2 Compliance: The platform’s wallet service providers are SOC 2, Type 1 certified, ensuring adherence to strict security protocols.
